Kurrens Acceptable Use Policy
Last Updated: September 28, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules for using the websites, API, models, and related services (the “Services”) provided by INFERERA PTE. LTD. (“Kurrens,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It forms part of our Terms of Service. If you make the Services available to your own users, you must ensure they comply with this AUP.
Your use of each model is also subject to that model’s license and any use policy attached to it (see Model Licenses). Where a model’s use policy is stricter than this AUP, the stricter rule applies.
1. Illegal and Harmful Activity
You may not use the Services to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, or facilitate anyone else doing so.
- Generate, distribute, or facilitate child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualizes minors. We report apparent child sexual exploitation to the relevant authorities.
- Develop, produce, or acquire chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear weapons, or explosives capable of mass casualties.
- Plan, promote, or facilitate terrorism, violent extremism, or violence against people.
- Create or distribute malware, conduct unauthorized intrusion into systems, or develop cyberweapons.
- Engage in fraud, scams, phishing, identity theft, or other deceptive practices, including impersonating a real person or organization without authorization.
- Harass, threaten, bully, or defame individuals, or promote discrimination on the basis of protected characteristics.
- Infringe or misappropriate intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Collect, process, or disclose personal data unlawfully, including biometric data, or conduct unlawful surveillance or tracking of individuals.
- Generate non-consensual intimate imagery of real people.
2. Prohibited AI Practices
You may not use the Services to develop or operate AI systems that:
- Deploy subliminal, manipulative, or deceptive techniques to materially distort a person’s behavior in a way that causes or is likely to cause significant harm.
- Exploit vulnerabilities of individuals due to age, disability, or social or economic situation.
- Perform social scoring that leads to unjustified detrimental treatment.
- Perform real-time remote biometric identification in publicly accessible spaces for law enforcement, except as permitted by law.
- Infer emotions in workplaces or educational institutions, except for medical or safety reasons.
- Categorize individuals based on biometric data to infer race, political opinions, trade-union membership, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, or sexual orientation.
- Make fully automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals (for example, in credit, employment, housing, insurance, or access to essential services) without appropriate human oversight and any disclosures required by law.
3. Transparency
If you use the Services to power products that interact with people, you must not mislead people into believing they are interacting with a human when they are interacting with an AI system, and you must comply with any laws requiring disclosure of AI-generated content.
4. Export Controls and Sanctions
You may not use or provide access to the Services or outputs in violation of export control or sanctions laws, including for any prohibited military, weapons, or advanced computing end use, or by or for any sanctioned person or destination (see Section 7.2 of the Terms of Service).
5. Platform Integrity
You may not:
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, billing, authentication, or other access controls.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems except through our vulnerability disclosure program (see https://kurrens.ai/security).
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services or other users, including through denial-of-service attacks or by sending requests designed to degrade performance.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services, except as permitted by law.
- Share, sell, rent, or transfer your account or API keys, or use another person’s credentials.
- Remove or obscure any proprietary notices.
- Scrape or crawl our website in violation of our robots.txt or in a way that places undue load on our infrastructure. (Normal use of the API is not scraping.)
6. Compute and Account Abuse
You may not:
- Use the Services for cryptocurrency mining or any use unrelated to AI inference that consumes our computing resources.
- Create multiple accounts, use disposable email addresses, or use other methods to obtain free credits, promotions, or trial benefits more than once, or to evade suspension.
- Resell raw access to the API as a standalone inference service without our written agreement.
- Initiate chargebacks for charges you authorized (see our Billing, Credits & Refund Policy).
- Submit false abuse reports or misuse our support channels.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP. Because we do not retain Customer Content, our investigations rely on request metadata, account information, and third-party reports. If we determine that you have violated this AUP, we may:
- Warn you and ask you to change your use.
- Restrict access to specific models or features.
- Suspend or terminate your account.
- Report the activity to law enforcement or other appropriate authorities.
- Pursue other legal remedies.
Where reasonably practicable and lawful, we will notify you of enforcement action and give you an opportunity to respond. A violation of this AUP is a breach of the Terms of Service.
8. Reporting Violations
To report a violation of this AUP, email [email protected] with the subject line “Abuse report” and as much detail as possible (for example, the relevant API key ID if known, timestamps, and a description of the conduct). Security vulnerabilities should be reported to the same address with the subject line “Security report”.
9. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. We will post the updated AUP here and update the “Last Updated” date.
